Working with Smart Clinic
For over five years, we’ve partnered with a leading national Occupational Health (OH) service provider, Before our collaboration, Smart clinic did not offer OH Physiotherapy services to their diverse client base.
Challenge
Smart clinic aimed to expand their OH service offerings to include Physiotherapy but lacked the necessary expertise and nationwide network of clinics. Additionally, they needed a partner capable of seamlessly integrating into their bespoke software system and collaborating closely with their clinical team to manage both management and self-referrals.
Our approach
Following comprehensive scoping meetings, we developed a tailored delivery model aligned with Smart Clinics needs. We assembled a dedicated team of clinicians specifically for this contract and provided them with the necessary training to proficiently use Smart Clinics software system, including live diary management. Our dedicated Support Team played a critical role, ensuring all clinical diaries were current and arranging face-to-face appointments for patients identified as needing treatment by our clinicians.
Result
Since receiving our first referrals five years ago, we’ve managed up to 100 referrals per month for Smart Clinic. We assigned a dedicated team of clinicians to handle both management and self-referrals, supported by additional staff to cover any planned or unplanned absences. This proactive resource planning minimised service disruptions and strengthened our relationship with Smart Clinic. We successfully integrated with their clinical software, enabling our clinicians to work seamlessly alongside their in-house team. Additionally, any feedback or complaints regarding our Physiotherapy services were promptly addressed, with responses prepared for Smart Clinic to reduce their workload. Corrective actions were implemented through our Learning & Development program to prevent future issues.
